这本书光看编者就很让人流口水了。Peter Diamond，MIT很有名的经济学家，同时也是AEA（American Economic Association）的主席。不过看到他，也应该也可以意识到这本书重点全都会放在应用上，其实直接叫“The Applications of Behavioral Economics”更为贴切，PD大多的精力都放在social security polity上，是个喜欢务实的教授，自然整本书都是在讲行为经济学如何运用在一些社会议题上，像金融、法律、组织等等，而且结合了最新的研究结果，不会像其他一些混水的书一上来就堆砌D. Kahneman那几个烂熟了的理论（期望理论最近被人批得比较狠）。行为经济学那种把人的行为作为一种影响因素放入经济学中进行考虑的思维对传统经济学进行了调整，而有传统经济学衍生出去的应用也不得不加入新的角度，这本书说的就是这个。是本难得的高浓度好书，不过需要足够的耐心来看。

我只看了感兴趣的一章，有空再接着看后面的。里面好几个contributors的名字让我一看到就激动，都是世界各门交叉学科敢于革新的leading人物，竟然也有SFI里的人，我就不一一介绍了，大家自己看吧。

ps 里面有些人也写过一些比较科普的小书的，不想硬啃这本书，看科普书也是不错的选择。

忘记说很重要的一点，Peter Diamond也是 The Behavioral Economics Roundtable中的一员，那是行为经济学的巨头们搞的一个小组，还出了一系列的书。
